About Us

Who is Mountain View Electric?

Mountain View Electric Company is a new Electrical Contractor, established in the Southwestern Virginia area, with it's headquarters in the mountains of Floyd County. It was started by Victor Quesenberry, a Master Electrician with 8 years of experience in the electrical field. He has experience working in the Industrial, Commercial, and Residential sectors of his occupation and all assorted trade practices that go along with those environments. At the beginning of 2021, he noticed a desperate need in the community around him for a licensed, insured, and most importantly, competent and workman like, Electrical Contractor. So, Mountain View Electric Co. was born. He faced many challenges and hurdles to make this a reality. Test, applications, finances, and personnel reservations all were overcome to make his dream happen. He could not have done this without the support of his beautiful wife, Hannah, and the drive and expectation that came from his little girl, Madilyn. Now, MVEC has but one hurdle to overcome. To prove that they are a fair, highly skilled, and caring Electrical Contractor dedicated to the improvement of the communities around them.

Why Choose MVEC?

Quality & Integrity

There are many contractors out there that claim to also do electrical work. Yes, they may give you a lower bid and yes, they may do the job sufficiently. But, when you choose Mountain View Electric Co. you can be assured that a Licensed and Insured Electrician will show up to the job and do it right the first time, every time. Our customers value Safety and Craftsmanship over everything else, so as with anything, Premium Service demands a Premium price. One of our favorite sayings here at MVEC is "The only thing more expensive than a professional is an amateur", and we whole heartedly believe that. To many times have we had to redo unsafe and substandard work done by amateurs, we here at MVEC want to change that. We want your family and/or business to be a safe place for everyone.

We do this by holding our employees to the highest standard possible. All work is supervised and checked by a DPOR licensed Electrician. An electrician that has been thoroughly vetted and stands up for our values as a company, Safety being #1. The NEC(National Electric Code) is the center of our standards. It outlines how our work should be performed as to make it as safe and workmanlike as possible. But we take it one step further. We aim to meet and exceed the standards held by the NEC by having employees who really care for the work they are doing, one's that ask "If this was MY home, how would I do it?"
